Zafara signs up Linux IT for UK Collaboration Platform deployment
Certified partner readying pilot schemes
Open source groupware and software provider Zafara has announced a partnership with Linux IT to increase sales of its Collaboration Platform.
The Dutch firm is looking to use its newly certified partner to boost sales in the UK. Now part of the Zafara Partner Program, Blended Systems Integrator Linux IT will use its three certified Zafara engineers to get pilot schemes up and running for its customers in the region.
Linux IT is one of Red Hats largest partners in Europe, and sees Zafara as a “key strategic partner” for seeking out new customers looking for a “low cost groupware alternative”, said Peter Dawes-Huish, Linux IT CEO and Chairman.
With the open source nature of the Collaboration Platform there is potential for further integration with other software applications according to Zafara.
The Zafara Collaboration Platform (ZCP) can be used as a Microsoft Exchange replacement for email and calendaring, expanding the range of services Linux IT offers to a range of organisations in commercial, public and voluntary sectors.
