A wing of giant distributor Avnet is to offer a two day virtual summit on the subject of solid state drives and has persuaded 13 suppliers to participate in the event.
The summit will be held on the 3rd and the 4th of April, covers a 48 hour period, and includes people from Dell OEM, Intel, LSI, Kingston, Micron, OCZ, Seagate, Toshiba and others.
Topics covered will include data security in SSDs, high performace caching, SSD tiered storage, endurance and performance and more.
The virtual summit wil allow attendees to access over 25 on demand technical courses, Avnet Embedded said.
As well as the virtual courses, there will be live chat sessions lasting 30 minutes, featuring tehnical experts from the suppliers. There’s a full schedule of sessions here, and registration for the event is here.
