Axcient, which provides data backup, business continuity and disaster recovery services for SMBs, said last week it is building up its partner programme with a new structure and a range of benefits for partners.
The programme will roll out during the course of the year with a three-tier structure – Partner, Premier Partner and Elite Partner – giving Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and VARs a range of benefits.
The programme will include standard benefits such as financial incentives, demand generation tools, webinars and training, Axcient said.
Partners at the entry level will be assigned a dedicated sales representative, while Elite Partners will be assigned a marketing representative.
Axcient will do joint business planning with partners including an annual quarterly plan that includes incentives for achieving sales targets, according to the company.
“It is our continued objective to not only provide the best backup and recovery service to our partners, but also to provide the industry’s best channel programme so our partners can easily respond to ever-changing customer needs,” stated Axcient chief executive Justin Moore. “Our goal is to be a committed member of our partners’ organisations.”
The partner programme will launch on 1 April. In the meantime, Axcient said it is travelling with HP on the HP/Axcient Cloud Roadshow to five cities in the US during March. The roadshow will offer cloud education and best practices for sales, marketing and finance.
