Lenovo is introducing a new quick-turnaround co-marketing tool, designed to enable channel partner resellers to create print advertisements, online banner ads and other materials almost instantly.
Currently in a pilot phase with 115 of its channel partners, Lenovo is listening to partner participant response to the program and will be improving the 48- to 72-hour turnaround time to an instant turnaround, says David Rabin, director of channel marketing at Lenovo. The creation of the advertisements is free to partners.
Rabin tells Channel Insider that partners have found the tool easy to use and relevant to their business needs. But they wanted a faster turnaround time, Rabin adds, so Lenovo will move to the instant delivery model when the program makes its formal debut in 17 languages around the world in April.
The wizard-driven tool takes partners through five steps to create their advertisements. Partners can change the content in six places in the Lenovo-prepared templates.
Separately, Lenovo has announced new additions to its portfolio of services offered to enterprise customers—ThinkPlus Priority Support and ThinkPlus Priority 4. ThinkPlus Priority Support is now available for all Think-branded PCs, is targeted at all commercial customers, and includes 24-hour telephone tech support, priority call routing and next-day on-site repair. ThinkPlus Priority 4 provides all those things plus on-site repair within 4 hours of the original troubleshooting, Lenovo said in a prepared statement.
The support services are available direct from Lenovo and through Lenovo business partners.
